Reader Views is an Austin, Texas, based company. We started in late December 2005 as a book review service. Shortly after our inception, we extended our services to include a variety of services for authors such as book publicity services, editing, author interviews, literary book awards, as well as coaching.
Reader Views Kids launched in early 2007. This came from the realization that adults write the kids books, adults decide which kids books are to be published, and then adults end up reviewing the books. Something was wrong with this picture! So, we gathered up a team of kids and here we are.
One effective and popular way of reaching your reading audience is through internet radio interviews. Since people have less time to read, yet want more information, why not give them the opportunity to “hear” about your book.
Introducing Books to Libraries, Bookstores, Media, Reviewers, Bloggers, and Readers. First Chapter Plus publishes and distributes a monthly e-catalog, which includes the first chapters of print and digital books, and mp3 clips of audio books plus all the essential information. Let us expose your current or upcoming book to our interested subscribers.
Now in its 11th year, the Reader Views Reviewers Choice Annual Literary Awards program was established to honor writers who self-published or had their books published by a subsidy publisher, small press, university press, or independent book publisher. Each entry comes with a complimentary review as well as promotion on our blogs, social media sites and in our newsletter.

I have a difficult time watching movies and television shows. Unless it’s something that really holds my attention, I’ll end up playing on my phone or doodling. In the past few months the only movies I’ve enjoyed sitting through are…
Often the first idea that comes to mind when considering using interviews to promote our books is the airwaves via talk radio and real-time TV shows. The idea of reaching a large audience and becoming a celebrity by making an…
Be honest with me, if I had called this blog post, “Qualifiers, Indefinite Modifiers, and Intensifiers” would you have even opened the article? But that’s just what they are – narrative slayers, and they are out to sabotage writing everywhere.…
“I’ve enjoyed working with Reader Views with my books. They have helped reach new readers by promoting awards and giveaways. I would recommend Reader Views for anyone that writes or reads books.”

“It was great working with Reader Views, and they did a great job promoting the book. Interviews were done professionally, the reviews were expertly written, and everything was published in a timely manner. I’m looking to forward to working with Reader Views when my next book comes out next year.”

“Working with Reader Views was a very pleasant surprise. My book received honest, positive feedback from the professional reviewer who knew the subject well. I was able to use excerpts from the “tear sheet” for posting on my website and social media sources. I immediately got feedback from contacts and many potential readers in addition to a renewed spike of interest in my humorous golf book from all corners of the U.S. I will use this resource again for my book’s sequel, Murder on the Green.”

“In 2016 I published my first book “Dreaming Sophia: Because Dreaming is an Art” and while I have done a variety of things to market my book, by far the most pleasant and rewarding marketing experiences has been working with Reader Views. After contacting them about the possibility of working together, I was delighted by their immediate response and by the professionalism with which they treated my project. The reviewer penned a very thoughtful and insightful response to my book which was shared on the Reader Views website and promoted through their social networks. I believe working with Reader Views helped to make my story about a young artist who finds herself in Florence Italy and has to adapt to Italian life, language and culture, more visible to readers who might otherwise have been unaware of my book.
I also thoroughly enjoyed my experience being interviewed by Sheri Hoyte, an Editor at Reader Views for the Inside Scoop Radio Podcast. It was delightful to talk with her about my book and my passion for Italy. The experience of working with Reader Views from start to finish was professional and rewarding. I have used the review and the radio podcast, sharing them on my author websites, as well as social media. Thanks so much to the Reader View Team. I plan on using them again when my next book “Waking Isabella: Because beauty can’t sleep forever” is published later this year. Grazie!”
